Galilee Families

Family Involvement

Meeting the needs of families is central to Cardijn College Galilee Campus. Regardless of your age or situation we will welcome your involvement in the community. Volunteers are always needed to support the growth of the school with tasks ranging from tree planting to listening to reading. If you are interested in being part of our community, please contact the school on 8557 2200 to receive more information.

All volunteers in our school are required to complete a national police clearance and volunteer screening.

Parents and Friends

At Galilee the P&F is called the Parents and Friends Coordinating Group (PFCG). Every parent/carer is automatically a member of the PFCG.

The main function of this group is to plan and coordinate community and fundraising activities.

The group is empowered to co-ordinate activities in consultation with school leadership that focus on:

  • Welcoming
  • Parent Education
  • Uniform
  • Faith Development/Spirituality of Parents
  • Fundraising

The group looks forward to sharing news and inviting you to participate in activities via the school newsletter during the year. They are committed to supporting the building of a strong, united community.

There are many ways you can be involved in school life. Look out for details of meeting times and other opportunities to be involved in the newsletter.
